Some say the world is cruel. Some say that even if a person does the greatest of deeds and has the purest of hearts, they still end up being unlucky. However, even in the darkest of times, things can change for the better.

These thoughts were not ones carried by Andrea…and with good reason.

Andrea had been a normal guy in a normal world: a little overweight (but that just followed the rising trend in modern times, at least according to the media) and a slight inclination to be lazy, but aside from that not a stand out guy. He held down a job working as a receptionist, rented an apartment, had a loving family and set of friends (although no partner as of yet)…All in all, normal and uninspiring. Andrea secretly wished for something more. Maybe he should have become a weather forecaster or something: he was one of those types of people to stand in the rain and just let it wash over him, often coming home with a cold. Maybe he should have taken up oceanology instead: he had a fascination with aquatic life. Heck, even something water based would be cool. Still, at least he had a job and a life, surely Andrea could be content with that?

Not today. Today bad luck was following Andrea around like a shadow. He had so far walked into a ladder, causing his work clothes to be splatted with paint from a fallen can (and a good telling off from the decorator on said ladder), had his holiday for next week refused, almost got run over on the way back, found that he was suddenly in debt and was now relaxing at home, where he discovered that his favourite show had just been cancelled. Andrea sighed; his blue eyes a little dismal and his black hair falling against his head in disappointment.

“Today’s not my day…”

BOOM!

What was that? An explosion? It seemed to come from…Andrea looked down before screaming. He was falling, through a white glow (portal maybe?). This couldn’t be real could it? He continued falling, and falling, until…

SPLASH!

Andrea spluttered as he found himself in deep water, gasping for air on the surface. He looked around and found a ledge nearby, so began swimming for it. He had no idea where he was, whether this was a dream or not, but one thing was certainly clear.

“Yeah, it’s really not my day.”

He made it to the bank and tried to calm himself. First he had to figure out where he was. He looked around. A cave of some sort? What was he doing in a cave? Where was the light coming from? How was he going to get out? Andrea began pushing himself out when…

CHINK!

“Wha…HMMMMM!”

Something rolled down the bank, something circular and blue, and landed straight in his mouth. Andrea’s body reacted and he found himself swallowing whatever it was. That couldn’t be a good sign, and mentally added it to the list of woes that had occurred.
Whatever it was, it was heavy. Andrea scrambled to try and get onto the rocky ledge, but his stomach felt as if it was pushing him down. His hands struggled to cling on before finally slipping away. Andrea found himself dropping beneath the water.

“And to end it all, drowning. There’s probably worse ways of dying,” Andrea thought, surprised at his own calmness towards his ending.

It wasn’t the end though, only the beginning. As Andrea gave himself up to the thought of dying (for the most part anyway, part of his mind bemoaned about the series of unfortunate events that had led up to this moment), he had no idea that his body was reacting to whatever it was that he had swallowed. Squirming inside of him, something began pulsing around his body, into his very core. Andrea began swelling, his clothes ripping off in a matter of moments and…Now he came back to reality. He could breathe. He could breathe again. How…?

He felt his neck. Gills. He had gills, why…Now he looked at his body and opened his mouth in soundless scream (closing it quite quickly due to the sudden intact of sea water, which strangely enough wasn’t unpleasant). His body was huge! At a rough guess, he was probably around 5 times his size now, with strong muscles and a tall height to match it. It was amazing this cavern didn’t collapse around him, although maybe it was just bigger than he first thought. Andrea also felt the inner strength inside him. Whatever he had swallowed it was powerful.

His neck was engulfed into his new mass as now Andrea became witness to the changes in his skin. His chest, tummy and waist, all of them paled to a very light blue, almost white. His back though, his back felt really weird. Andrea tried twisting and turning in the water but his back was bending as it should, his neck couldn’t twist very well anymore and his legs actually felt pretty useless against his new body. Somehow Andrea could sense his changes, maybe the feeling of water helping it. He guessed that his back was a darker shade of blue, with thin lines breaking up the pale and the dark colours where they met. Two fins rose from his back, vaguely reminding him of sharks and there were other marks too: some lines, some ovals…but nothing was happening to them right now. Andrea felt that something ought to be happening there.

The pressure of the water both inside and out suddenly forced themselves massively on his head, causing an uncomfortable feeling but not a painful one. Andrea instead felt as his head ballooned outwards, adding even more height to his already huge body. Nose, eyes, mouth, all moved out. In fact, nose and mouth joined and his jaw…his jaw was a massive maw. His incisors and molars cracked and gave way, his nose becoming smaller (in fact, did he have nostrils anymore?). The bottom half became the same light blue, just as his eyes lowered themselves down, fitting his new skull. They were quite small against his head, and the light blue rim that circled them tickled a little. A shinning yellow took over the whites while orange became the new black. His ears were…well, they didn’t seem to be anywhere. He could hear the dim sensation that was caused when you are underwater, but where they were Andrea didn’t really know. What he did know was that the same change to skin (probably something scally, was he becoming a big fish or something?) had removed his hair and placed more markings on him. One reminded him dimly of something, something he learnt ages ago at school…α! There was an α on his forehead! Was he going to start speaking in Greek or something?

No, Andrea thought. There was something more to this, something that his brain was desperately trying to process but failing at doing. Instead, he turned over, no longer looking up at the cavern ceiling but across the water, feeling more relaxed like that. Andrea couldn’t see the changes, but he knew from the way that his arms were inflating that they were next. His elbows clicked away, Andrea feeling himself that they were no longer useful, and flexible muscles attached themselves instead allowing him to move them. He found he could only move them up and down, his movement there restricted. His hands, in particular, grew immensely, widening incredibly. His thumbs and wrists clicked away, while his remaining fingers were smaller but bulkier, making white marks against his new, powerful fins. The marks this time were more pronounced: if Andrea could have seen them, he would have thought it looked like a rising sun overlooking a red mark like a H below…weird, he felt they should…

…Glow, and glow they did. Andrea’s mind was suddenly alive to what he was becoming, just as his legs began merging before splitting at the end of his body. While in-between them  was growing a very small pointed tail, his legs grew longer and longer, splitting in different directions until on each side he had four wavy fins. Between two of each a thin patch of glowing material stretched between them, giving Andrea a powerful tail to propel himself with. He was going to need it. He was a legendry Pokémon in this new world, responsible for the expanding of oceans, the land and Groudon being his enemy. He was better than normal though. Thanks to the blue orb, he was a Primal Kyogre!

Andrea actually felt really pleased with this. He had buried down the feeling of wanting more in life, but had accepted his normality as fate. Now, through luck, he was here. The water had always been an interest for him, but now it felt like his ally. There was so much he could do now! Mentally he thanked whatever power had brought him here. Andrea dived down through the cave, before finding an exit.

Swimming was so easy, so great, and the surface…He broke through, glowing as a storm raged in around him. The rain was hitting him really hard and he cried in his deep voice, intoxicated in the power his rain was causing. This world needed more water, and he was going to provide it, just by swimming.

Unknown to Andrea, two people watched his progress in the ocean. One was dressed in a white robe, the other black, and neither really stood out in the darkness of the area around them. They knew, as Andrea did not, that his arrival would lead to the end of a certain team here, and that a destined trainer would either capture or defeat him, preventing the rise in sea level. That was what this particular world had needed. Both panted in the rain, though neither felt soaked through to the skin.

“That…was particularly hard to do. Even I admit it…” The black one muttered.

“Yes…maybe it’s to do with…Primal Reversion…” The white one replied, then smiled, “The results cannot be denied though. He will be a great Primal Kyogre here…”
Request for :iconburstcoffee:

I am so, so, SO sorry for the lateness of this request. After the last request, I struggled with sleeping problems (which are beginning to sort themselves out) and then life became hectic. I finally had a few moments today to complete this and put it up, and I must say it was incredibly fun today. I was requested that Andrea here would have a series of bad incidents before swallowing the blue orb resulting in the Tf and a happy outcome. Hopefully it does the job.

Requests are currently CLOSED! Please wait for them to reopen again.

Nice job with this TF~
The sensation of being overwhelmed with the power of the sea was nicely captured, particularly with the use of water pressure. I liked that touch~
